Happy Birthday LA 5K: A Recap In Pictures
Year 236 for the City of Los Angeles started off with a bang! BlacklistLA held the 3rd annual race commemorating the city’s humble beginnings with the Happy Birthday LA 5K.
The race brought together runners of all ages, sizes, and colors to celebrate the city we love by running a fast 3.12-mile course. After months of planning, and help from numerous volunteers and sponsors, we’re happy to have pulled it off once again.
From start to finish, a lot happened on race day. So, rather than just telling you about it, we’d rather show you how the race all went down. We’ve created a visual recap of that special day with photos taken by own BlacklistLA photographers (Thank you Hans, Delia, Halo, and Andres for the pics).
Check it out!
The first thing runners and spectators see when arriving to the race expo area is a blown up version of the race medal graphic done by LissRunsLA, this year’s featured artist (and a BlacklistLA runner).
On your mark…get set…GO!
